Emerging HOPE Board of Directors

We extend gratitude to the host of sponsoring vendors which include mental health agencies, health professional associations, faith-based groups, and private-sector business. Many whom we recognize as forerunners advocating for those in our community with mental health challenges. We extend gratitude to you for the extensive work that you have already done on the topic of eridicating mental health stigma among disinfrancized/marginalized populations.

This years sponsoring vendor booths consist of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service, Merry Battles Counseling, Kalamazoo Youth Development Network, Kalamazoo Community Mental Health, Parents for Transition, Deadra Bell-Smith, Licensed Professional Counselor (Art Therapy), Recovery Institute of Southwest Michigan, Need to Talk Counseling Agency, Alternatives od Kalamazoo, Gryphon Place, Edge Water Music Therapy|Thompson Tutoring, Sea Green Art Therapy and Special Education Mediation Services. The multi-cultural/multi-aged crowd will consist of clergy, mental health professional, lay people, and individuals and their family members who are living with mental illness and developmental disabilities, service providers, college students, parents, siblings, neighbors, and community members. Many lives will be impacted by the information and personal testaments that will be powerfully shared. From past events people have reported feeling safe to share their stories, empowered, validated, and most importantly understood.
