Surviving the Dissertation Process
As a Doctoral of Ministry candidate, completing a dissertation is mainly a matter of perseverance. My dissertation is a product of several drafts that will eventually become a scholarly book. When writing my dissertation, one of the most difficult intellectual tasks a person can do, commitment to the process has been the most important thing.
Therefore, writing has become a part of my work-week routine.
Finishing my dissertation will be one of the best things I've ever done. It's worth the hard work of knowing I've completed what's likely to be my biggest, most important, single piece of work.
I am proud to say, at this point, I am mostly done.
The race is not given to the swift nor the strong but he who endures until the end. Ecclesiastes 9:11
